• The victory marks Baylor's second Big 12 Championship title, they also won in 2005.
• Baylor is now 2-2 in Big 12 Championship final game.
• Baylor's senior class (Morrow, Allison, Player) now have a four-year record of 104-27.
• Head coach Kim Mulkey is 114-51 all-time against league teams.
• BU is 10-3 versus ranked opponents this season, 4-1 on the road, and 4-2 against top 10 teams.
• Under Mulkey, Baylor has won at least 25 games in six straight seasons and seven overall.
• BU is now 26-0 on the season when scoring 60-plus points.
• Baylor has led at the half in 28 of 32 games and is 25-3 when leading at the half.
• Senior guard Jhasmin Player scored a season-high 25 points, 19 of which came in the second half. She now needs 35 points to reach 1,000 for her career.
• Senior guard Jessica Morrow was named Most Outstanding Player of the Big 12 Championships and to the all-Tournament team for the second time in her four year career. She was also honored in 2005. Morrow is just the second Lady Bear to be named to the squad twice, Sophia Young was a three-time honoree.
• Baylor has led at the half in 28 of 32 games this season, and is 24-3 when leading at the half.
• Junior forward Morghan Medlock recorded her 10th double figure scoring game of the season with her 13, first half points. She was 6-of-6 from the floor in the first half.
• Morrow (MOP), Medlock and Player were named to the All-Tournament team.
