MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Baylor advances to the Big 12 Championship title game for the first time ever (12 tournaments).
• Baylor becomes only third team in Big 12 history to win three games and play for tournament title (10-seed Mizzou 1997 & 5-seed Mizzou 2003), both previous teams lost.
• Ninth-seeded Baylor becomes second-lowest seed to advance to Big 12 Championship final (10-seed Missouri lost to 1-seed Kansas 87-60 in first-ever Big 12 Tournament in 1997.
• Tonight's win improves Baylor's record to 20-13, marking BU's fifth 20-win campaign in school history and the first back-to-back 20-win seasons in school history (21-11 in 2007-08).
• With tonight's win, Baylor is now 8-11 all-time in the Big 12 Championship (4-4 under Scott Drew).
• Baylor snapped a 24-game losing streak to Texas, notching its first victory since an 80-75 home win in February 1998, and now trails 155-76 in the all-time series / head coach Scott Drew is now 1-13 vs. Texas.
• Baylor is now 1-2 all-time in Big 12 Championship play and 3-4 all-time in conference tournaments (2-2 in Southwest Conference Classic) vs. Texas.
• Baylor is now 4-1 in games played at the Ford Center.

TEAM NOTES
• Baylor outrebounded Texas 35-27. The Bears are now 13-2 this season when outrebounding their opponent.
• Baylor is now 3-11 this season when trailing at the half (39-33 tonight).
• The 2008-09 Baylor squad is the second-highest scoring team in BU history with points 2,534 total points in 33 games (second to last year's 2,601 points in 33 games).
• With five 3-pointers tonight, Baylor moved to third on the school's single-season 3-pointers made list with 268 on the season.
• With two team blocks tonight, Baylor moved to fourth on the school's single-season blocks chart with 130 on the season.
• Baylor teams have made at least one 3-point field goal in 545 straight games.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
LaceDarius Dunn scored 16 today. In three career Big 12 Championship games Dunn is averaging 19.5 points.
Henry Dugat's made 3-pointer on his second attempt of the game (early second half) snapped a streak of 22 straight missed 3s spanning 11 games. Dugat finished 1-of-3 on 3-pointers.
• Dugat finished with 17 points, his first double-digit scoring output in the last 11 games.
Curtis Jerrells scored 13 points and moved into third place all-time on Baylor's scoring chart (passing Brian Skinner, 1,702) with 1,714 career points.
