PHILLIPS 66 BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINAL STORY LINES
• Following 16-point win over eighth-seeded Nebraska in the first round of the Big 12 Championship Wednesday, Baylor looks to relive its 2001 tournament run when the Bears face the No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks Thursday in the quarterfinals at the Ford Center. Tip-off is set for 11:37 a.m. CT on ESPN2.
• Baylor is now 2-1 all-time in the Ford Center (1-1 in 2007 Big 12 Championship).
• With 19 points vs. Nebraska Wednesday, Curtis Jerrells moved into fourth place all-time in Baylor history with 1,691 career points, passing Darryl Middleton (1,677). Jerrells needs 12 points to pass Brian Skinner (1,702) for third all-time.
LaceDarius Dunn now has hit a career-high 83 3-point field goals in his sophomore season - the fourth-highest single-season total in school history.
LaceDarius Dunn is 18-for-67 from 3-point range in his last 12 games (26.9 percent) - Baylor is 3-9 over that stretch.
Tweety Carter's streak of 18 consecutive games with at least one 3-point field goal made was snapped Wednesday vs. Nebraska. Carter's streak was tied for the sixth-longest in BU history.
• Baylor has made at least one 3-point field goal in 543 straight games - the second-longest active streak in the Big 12 behind Texas. Baylor has connected from 3-point range at least once in every game since going 0-for-8 in a home win vs. Texas Tech on Feb. 21, 1990.
Kevin Rogers is tied for fifth all-time in school history with 24 career double-doubles - one behind Terry Teagle (26) for fourth place. Rogers' double-double Wednesday was his first in five Big 12 Championship games.
• Over the last nine seasons, Baylor has had much more success against Big 12 North schools than those in the South. BU is 24-31 (.436) vs. Big 12 North and just 18-71 (.202) vs. Big 12 South. The Bears are 3-4 vs. the Big 12 North this season.
Kevin Rogers moved into fourth place on Baylor's all-time rebounding list, passing Terry Teagle (805). Rogers now has 810 career boards entering Thursday's game vs. Kansas.
Henry Dugat has missed his last 20 3-point field goal attempts and has not made a triple since the 3:23 mark of the first half vs. Kansas on Feb. 2.
