WACO, Texas - Five former Baylor Lady Bear basketball players will spend the winter playing professional basketball overseas.

After helping the San Antonio Silver Stars to the WNBA playoffs this season, three-time All-WNBA performer Sophia Young will play for Galatasaray in Istanbul, Turkey.

Bernice Mosby, a member of the WNBA's Washington Mystics, a playoff team this season, will play in Milan, Italy, for Bracco GEAS Sesto San Giovanni. She will also be doing an internship with a fashion designer in Milan.

Abiola Wabara, Angela Tisdale and Jhasmin Player have already joined their respective overseas teams. Tisdale will play in Israel for Elizur Holon, Wabara will compete for PDV Ibiza in Ibiza, Spain, and Player begins her professional career in Portugal for Olivias Coimbra.
