The Baylor soccer team (8-5-4, 3-4-2) will play its final regular season game, Friday when it travels to Oklahoma (7-10-1, 2-7) at John Crain Field at 7:00 p.m.

"It's going to be a tough battle," head coach Marci Jobson said. "We need to take care of the small details and execute our game plan well. Most importantly we need to play with extreme heart, passion and grit."

The Bears defeated Houston Baptist, 6-0 last Friday, before falling 1-0 at Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon. Baylor sits in eighth place in the conference standings, with the top eight teams making it to the Big 12 Tournament in San Antonio. A Kansas loss to Missouri assures the Bears of their first trip to the conference tournament since 2006. However, if Kansas wins, Baylor must at least tie the Sooners to earn its trip.

Baylor is led by Lotto Smith's eight goals and two assists, while Lisa Sliwinski has scored a goal in two of the last three games. Goalkeeper Gianna Quintana leads a defense that is second in the conference in goals against average, allowing under a goal per game.

The Sooners fell 3-0 in the Bedlam Series on Friday in Stillwater. OU trailed 1-0 at the half and OSU scored two late goals to put the game out of reach. Whitney Palmer leads the Sooner attack with 15 goals and two assists, good for second in the conference in goals and points.
