Baylor Head Coach Art Briles
Opening statement €¦
"It was pretty frustrating but the main thing is that there is no panic. I'm not panicking and our team isn't panicking. We understand that we have another week to play, Lord willing. We'll come out and we'll fight again. It's not like woe is me, it's go is me. We know we have a long way to go and we have a lot of time to get better and we have to take advantage of it because we still have a lot of growing to do as a team."

On exuding the team with a positive energy...
"That is everyday. If you're winning you have to deal with other issues, if you're not then there's issues with that. There are always opportunities to go in the right direction and there's not a written book for it, I just think you have to go by instinct and controlled emotion and that's what we're trying to maintain."

On penalties having an effect on outcome of the game...
"It certainly falls into it without a doubt. We have got to play pretty flawless to be able to execute and get points, that's one thing that we're certainly aware of. Rhythm, confidence and momentum have to be created and it is hard to create it when you're not making productive yards every snap."

On putting Blake (Szymanski) in the game in the third quarter...
"I felt like Blake deserved an opportunity. You look up and there are no points on the board so I figured lets give him a shot and see if he can provide us with a spark."

Senior Safety Jordan Lake
On not getting a spark early...
"They jumped on us early and they're a good team. You can't let a good team do that; jump out to a 10 point or 17 point lead in the first quarter. You can't expect a good team like that to take that and get back in the game."

On if the team took a step back this week...
"I think we are kind of having some of the same little issues; fits here and missed assignment there. We just need to play better team football. We are not doing a good job of that right now. That is what is killing us, little assignments here and there. We just need to play better as a team."

On losing the time of possession battle...
"We got to get off the field. The only reason that time of possession is so big is not because our offense can't keep the ball in there hands, it is because we are letting them drive all the way down on us. We have to do a better job of getting three-and-outs and getting turnovers. Getting ourselves off the field and letting our offense have a chance."

Senior Wide Receiver David Gettis
On not getting a any offense early...
"It really just came down to performing. Across the board I don't think we played up to what we were supposed to. We didn't make the plays we were supposed to make. That is why the outcome happened the way it happened."

On the rest of the season...
"We have games left and we are looking to win every single one of them. This team is not done. We know what we have to do. It really just comes down to us just getting it down in our heads that we need to produce and do it."

Freshman Quarterback Nick Florence
On taking a step back...
"We are not taking a step back, it was just one of those days. That is the way it goes sometimes, just the way it happens sometimes. We are improving. We are going to get better this week and see how it goes next week."

On trying to get offensive production early...
"We have to get something going early every game whoever we play. We have to start fast and get some momentum and create momentum. We didn't do it."

Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy
Opening statement €¦
"Today was a good win for Oklahoma State. I thought in all three phases our team was very effective. Defensively we were able to contain them and keep them from sustaining any long drives. By doing that it allowed our offense to get back on the field. We were able to have a balanced attack today and we were able to have a rush the ball effectively and throw the ball effectively."

On the offensive effort...
"We are just going to do what they give us. We don't know if teams are going to try and overload the box or try to defend the pass against us. We used to guess, but a lot of times we were wrong. We just try to be as versatile as possible and take what they give us during the game."

On Zac Robinson's passing-efficiency and setting a new school record...
"Zac has been playing better. He is running the ball effectively and he is making good decisions. I hope he breaks (all of my passing records).

Senior Cornerback Perrish Cox
On the defensive effort...
"Defense was our main focus. We actually tried to get a shutout because we haven't done that in a long time at OSU. It didn't quite work out for us but that was the plan. You hear about the offense a lot and we wanted it to be the year of the defense."

Senior Offensive Lineman Russell Okung
On the quarterback play...
"Zac (Robinson) came out and played well but sometimes you can't get too far ahead of yourself. He is definitely getting better as the season gets longer."

Senior Quarterback Zac Robinson
On the offensive play...
"It was a good, efficient day. It seemed like everything we were calling was working. If the first read wasn't there, the second or third read was usually there. The offensive line played great and they blocked their butt's off and gave me a lot of time. I only hit the turf a few times so that is always nice. The receivers made plays and they got open."

On establishing a running game...
"Anytime you can come out and run the ball against a team in this league in kind of takes the wind out of their sails, especially being on the road and being able to control the line of scrimmage."

On the importance of having multiple threats on offense...
"When we line up the ball can go anywhere at anytime so it is tough on defenses. Our receivers are getting better week in and week out."
