Men's Hoops to Attend Big 12 Media Day Thursday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2009 Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Media Day will be held Thursday at the Sprint Center, site of the 2010 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship.

Live video coverage of men's basketball media day will begin Thursday at 9 a.m. Video of all 12 coaches' press conferences will be available at www.Big12Sports.com as well as team previews. Joining head coach Scott Drew at Big 12 Media Day will be senior Tweety Carter and junior Ekpe Udoh. Coach Drew will take the podium for his press conference at 8:15 a.m.

The Big 12 Report on Big12Sports.com will conduct a live, on-site show during the entire media day. The show, hosted by Wendell Barnhouse, will break into press conferences as warranted and provide feature coverage throughout the entire event.

Tweety Carter, Senior Point Guard (Reserve, La.)
