GAME NIGHT STORY LINES
• Baylor will go for its second Big 12 road win in four days when the 23rd-ranked Bears face the 5th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners Saturday in Norman on ESPNU. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
• Baylor (15-3) is aiming to snap its 28-game losing streak to the Sooners, dating back to 1977. (Baylor is 0-24 vs. Oklahoma in the Big 12 era).
• Baylor is 11-9 all-time on the ESPN family of networks (4-2 this season).
• Baylor has now been ranked in the ESPN/USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll a school-record six consecutive weeks. Baylor dropped out of the AP Top 25 Poll after a school-record seven consecutive weeks in the rankings.
• Since the 1996-97 season, Baylor is 10-65 vs. national ranked opponents and 3-33 under head coach Scott Drew.
• Oklahoma will be Baylor's third Top 25 opponent this season - the Bears defeated then-No. 14 Arizona State and lost to current No. 1 Wake Forest at the 76 Classic in November.
• Baylor has made at least one 3-point field goal in 530 straight games - the second-longest active streak in the Big 12. Baylor has connected from 3-point range at least once in every game since going 0-for-8 in a home win vs. Texas Tech on Feb. 21, 1990.
LaceDarius Dunn currently owns a streak of 23 consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made - the third-longest streak in Baylor history. He is seven games shy of tying Tevis Stukes' mark of 29 straight games set during the 1999-2000 season. He has made at least one 3-point field goal in 47 of his 49 career games.
• On Wednesday, Dunn tied a school record with 9 3-point field goals, scoring a season-high 33 points in a 83-65 win at Kansas State.
Curtis Jerrells needs 1 assist to become only the second player in BU history with 1,000 points, 400 assists and 100 steals.
Kevin Rogers recorded his 22nd career double-double - and 15th in Big 12 play - when he scored 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in Baylor's win at Kansas State on Wednesday.

SERIES HISTORY
• Oklahoma leads the all-time series 33-5 and 16-2 in Norman.
• Baylor is 0-10 vs. Oklahoma under head coach Scott Drew and have not defeated the Sooners since Dec. 6, 1977, in Norman (a 75-67 BU victory).
• Oklahoma has won the last 28 meetings (all 24 Big 12 era meetings).
• Last season, Baylor fell short of snapping its losing streak to Oklahoma in a 92-91 overtime thriller in Norman.

OKLAHOMA SCOUTING REPORT
• The No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners improved to 18-1 overall and 4-0 in Big 12 play after a 72-61 win over Nebraska Wednesday night in Norman.
• Oklahoma currently sits one game ahead of Baylor in the Big 12 standings.
• OU is led by Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Blake Griffin, who is averaging 22.3 points and 13.6 rebounds in 32.5 minutes. Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year Willie Warren is second for the Sooners with 15.0 points in 30.4 minutes. Tony Crocker is third on the team with 10.5 points.
• Unlike Baylor, Oklahoma has only three players averaging in double figures as the offense runs through the sophomore Griffin.
• While Griffin is averaging a Big 12-leading 13.6 boards, Oklahoma is averaging just three more boards per game than the Bears.

LAST TIME VS. OKLAHOMA - FEB. 19, 2008
• Tony Crocker converted a four-point play with 7.3 seconds left and Oklahoma came away with its second straight miraculous finish to beat Baylor 92-91 in overtime.
• Crocker was fouled by Aaron Bruce while making a 3-pointer from the left wing and then hit his free throw to put Oklahoma ahead late, and Curtis Jerrells missed a pair of free throws with 1 second left that could've given the Bears the win.
Kevin Rogers got the rebound on Jerrells' second miss but was unable to put it back at the buzzer.
• Blake Griffin scored a career-high 29 points and had 15 rebounds to lead Oklahoma, which squandered an eight-point lead in the final 3 minutes of regulation before overcoming a 7-0 surge by the Bears to start overtime.
• Jerrells scored 29 points and led Baylor's comeback during regulation, but then couldn't come through with the Lloyd Noble Center crowd cheering loudly when he stepped to the line.

LAST TIME OUT - (23) BAYLOR 83, KANSAS STATE 65
LaceDarius Dunn tied a school record with nine 3-pointers while scoring 33 points to lead Baylor past Kansas State, 83-65.
Curtis Jerrells added 18 points, while Quincy Acy and Kevin Rogers each had 12 for the Bears, who led the entire way.
• Denis Clemente scored 17 points for Kansas State, which has lost its first four conference games for the first time since the 1996-97 season. Dominique Sutton scored 12 points and Darren Kent added 11 for the Wildcats.
• The nine 3-pointers by Dunn raised his team-leading total to 61 and tied the record set by David Hamilton in 1995. Dunn came within five of his career-high 38 points, which he scored against Texas Tech on March 8, 2008.
• Struggling against Baylor's zone defense, the cold-shooting Wildcats had only eight points on the board with 8 minutes left in the first half. Kansas State closed out the period on a 7-3 run but trailed 36-23 at halftime en route to its second loss in 12 home games.
• Dunn remained hot in the second half, reeling off 11 points in the first 9:06 of the period. The Wildcats pieced together an 8-3 run, sparked by Clemente's two free with 13:35 left in the game.
• But Dunn hit a 3-pointer with about 11 minutes remaining to extinguish the comeback attempt. The Bears maintained a double-digit lead throughout the half and took advantage of Kansas State foul trouble, making 14-of-16 free throws in the period.

UP NEXT - TEXAS (JAN. 27)
• Following Saturday's game at Oklahoma, Baylor returns home to the Ferrell Center when the Bears host the Texas Longhorns on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. The game will be televised live on the Big 12 Network. Dave Armstrong (pxp) and Reid Gettys (color) will serve as the talent for the ESPN Regional Television production.
• Texas leads the all-time series 153-75 and holds a 62-45 advantage in Waco.
• Texas has won the last 22 series meetings.
• Baylor last defeated Texas, 80-75, on Feb. 21, 1998, in Waco.

THE 2008-09 BIG 12 NETWORK TELEVISION PACKAGE
• This season for the first time, regionally syndicated games will be televised on the Big 12 Network as part of the conference's agreement with ESPN Regional Television.
• The games, previously branded as ESPN Plus, are broadcast throughout the conference's geographic footprint. Many of the Big 12 Network games will also be available as part of ESPN Full Court, the pay subscription college basketball outer-market service. In addition, numerous games will be available 72 hours after completion via the newly-designed Big 12 web site at Big12Sports.com.

BEAR MORE SUCCESSFUL VS. BIG 12 NORTH
• Over the last nine seasons, Baylor has had much more success against Big 12 North schools than those in the South. Baylor is 25-31 (.446) the last nine seasons vs. Northern schools and just 17-60 (.221) vs. teams in the South.

DREW CLOSING IN ON 100 CAREER VICTORIES AT BAYLOR
• Entering Saturday's contest at Oklahoma, head coach Scott Drew is 72-83 in five-plus seasons at Baylor. Drew currently ranks 6th all-time at BU in victories and trails Gene Iba by 16 wins for 5th place.

BAYLOR'S OFFENSE PICKING UP WHERE RECORD-SETTING PACE ENDED LAST SEASON
• Baylor currently ranks 8th in the nation in scoring at 83.1 points and 3rd overall in the Big 12.
• Last season, Baylor led the Big 12 in overall scoring offense (81.3) and Big 12-only scoring offense (81.8). Baylor's 81.3 scoring average was the highest average since 1993-94; the Bears finished 11th nationally in scoring offense.

TOUGH STRETCH AHEAD FOR THE BEARS
• Baylor faces a crucial four-game swing in Big 12 play as the Bears face Oklahoma (Jan. 24), Texas (Jan. 27), Missouri (Jan. 31) and Kansas (Feb. 2) in a 10-day span.
• Baylor is a combined 9-66 in the Big 12 era vs. its next four opponents. BU has never defeated Oklahoma (0-24) in the Big 12 era.
• In fact, Baylor has lost 28 straight to OU and 22 straight to Texas.

WINNING IN STYLE ON THE ROAD IN THE BIG 12
• Baylor's 18-point win at Kansas State on Wednesday is its largest margin of victory on the road in the Big 12 era. The previous mark was 17 points, which the Bears set at K-State in 1997.
• It was just Baylor' fourth Big 12 road win by 10 or more points - and the third under head coach Scott Drew. Last season, the Bears defeated Colorado by 11, 68-57, in Boulder and Texas Tech by 13, 86-73, in Lubbock.

DUNN TIES BAYLOR SINGLE-GAME 3-POINT MARK
• Sophomore LaceDarius Dunn tied a Baylor single-game record when he hit nine 3-point field goals during Wednesday's 83-65 win at Kansas State. Dunn finished with a season-high 33 points, connecting on 9-of-12 shots from beyond the arc.
• Dunn tied the mark set by David Hamilton on Feb. 14, 1995, at TCU.
• Both Dunn and Hamilton hit their record-tying 9 treys on the road in conference play.

DUNN AT RECORD-SETTING PACE
• Through 18 games, LaceDarius Dunn has made 61 3-point field goals, averaging an impressive 3.4 treys per contest. Dunn is currently on pace to shatter Aundre Branch's single-season school mark of 104 triples set during the 1994-95 season. Branch averaged 3.7 treys in 28 games, while Dunn is slated to play four additional regular season games. At Dunn's current pace, the sophomore could tie or break the mark by the end of the regular season.
• Perhaps more impressive, Dunn is 14 treys shy of besting his season total during his freshman campaign last year. Dunn hit 74 3-pointers in 31 games in 2007-08.

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS
LaceDarius Dunn has been Baylor's largest - and most effective - weapon off the bench during the first 18 games of the season. During Wednesday's 18-point win at Kansas State, Dunn posted two separate streaks with four consecutive 3-pointers made.

CONSECUTIVE GAMES WITH A 3-POINTER STREAK
• Baylor has made at least one 3-point field goal in 530 straight games - the 2nd longest active streak in the Big 12 (Texas, 599). Baylor has connected from 3-point range at least once in every game since going 0-for-8 in a home win vs. Texas Tech on Feb. 21, 1990.
LaceDarius Dunn currently owns a streak of 23 consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made.
• Dunn has made a 3-pointer in 47 of his 49 career games. He did not make a triple vs. Iowa State (1/12/08) and at Colorado (2/27/08).
