FAYETTEVILE, Ark. - Trey Harts and Tiffany Townsend earned wins in the 200 meter finals on the first day of competition at the Razorback Invitational at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Townsend, who broke the Baylor record in the 200 meters with a provisional time of 23.48 last weekend at Texas Tech, clocked 23.41 to break her own school record with another NCAA provisional qualifying time.

Harts, who only competed in the 55 meters last weekend, ran an opening time of 21.24 to win the men's 200 meters, finishing just one one-hundredth off an NCAA provisional time. Whitney Prevost won the third heat to finish second overall, while Courtney Thomas finished fifth.

Joseph Farley finished third overall in the men's pole vault with an indoor personal best clearance of 4.90 meters (16-00 ¾). Farley tied for the highest clearance, but finished third due to misses in the series. He just missed his second attempt at an NCAA provisional-qualifying height of 5.20 meters.

Jeff Sadler took third in the men's 5,000 meters, while Brandon Reed placed sixth overall. Sadler's time of 14:51.86 was less than one second from the Baylor all-time top 10.
