WACO, Texas - The Lady Bear Tip Off Club (TOC) invites all members and prospective members to the ninth annual Welcome Back Supper, Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.

This fun, casual covered dish supper is an opportunity to visit with the players and coaches. Head coach Kim Mulkey will introduce the players, which includes seven newcomers, staff and offer brief remarks about the upcoming season.

Bring your family, friends and your favorite vegetable, salad or dessert and join TOC members for a preview of the 2008-2009 season.

Bush's Chicken is supplying fried chicken, tea and rolls.

Membership forms will be available at the door for those wishing to join.

The Lady Bears open their regular season at home on Friday, Nov. 14, with a 7 p.m. game against Florida Atlantic. The contest is preceded by two exhibition games on Nov. 3 (Houston Jaguars) and Nov. 7 (Dallas Diesel).
