The Baylor football team's annual "Meet the Bears" event, presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, will be held on Saturday, August 16, at Noon on the grass practice fields at Floyd Casey Stadium. Fans are invited to watch the Bears scrimmage at 10 a.m. and then get autographs of their favorite coaches and players.

The autograph session will begin following the scrimmage on the field and conclude at 1 p.m. Schedule posters, schedule cards and media guides will be available, but fans will be limited to two autographed items per player.

Fans will also be able to purchase season tickets during the scrimmage and autograph session.

The Bears kickoff the 2008 the season against No. 23 Wake Forest on Thursday, Aug. 28, in a nationally televised game on Fox Sports Net starting at 7 p.m.
