Lady Bears Game at Cal Cancelled

PORTLAND, Ore. - Due to weather related issues in Portland, Ore., which prevented the Baylor women's basketball team from catching its flight to Oakland, Calif., on Sunday, Baylor's game against the California Golden Bears on Monday, Dec. 22 in Berkeley, Calif., has been cancelled.

The Lady Bears played at Eugene, Ore., on Saturday night, posting an 81-71 victory over the Oregon Ducks, then traveled to Portland to spend the night. Due to icy and snowy conditions in Portland, all Sunday flights were cancelled and travel is highly discouraged. More snow is in the forecast for the Portland area.

The game will be rescheduled for a future date.
