• Baylor returns four of its five starters from last season's NCAA Tournament team and nearly all of its statistical production for the second season in a row. The Bears return 86.7 percent of last season's points (2254-of-2601), 87.0 percent of rebounds (1041-of-1196) and 82.0 percent of assists (318-of-388). • Last season, Jerrells became the 20th player in school history to eclipse the career 1,000-point plateau joining departed senior Aaron Bruce. This season, the Bears could have as many as four players join the 1,000-point ranks.
