How would you describe the changes that have been made since Coach Briles arrived here?
Coach Briles and his staff have come in and really changed the atmosphere of the whole football program. He has brought such a positive, winning mindset to our program.
What has been the biggest highlight for your team this season?
Our best moment was to get our first Big XII win of the year. It broke a streak of conference losses, and it was such a total team victory with the offense, defense, and special teams playing so well.
Describe the excitement of how much your team has improved this season.
We do see that we have taken some strides as a team, but this is not what we are looking for. We need to get three of our last four to get into a bowl game.
What has your team taken from the challenges of such a tough schedule with so many highly ranked opponents?
Playing college football, we want these opportunities to play the best in the country week in and week out. This conference is just a lot of fun to play in right now.
How do you personally prepare for each game? Anything out of the ordinary?
Nothing out of the ordinary. I am pretty relaxed. I am not one of those guys who makes a big scene to get prepared. The way I see it, I need to save all my energy until I get out on the field. From that point, it's all out effort for 60 minutes.
