GAME NIGHT STORY LINES
• After a 58-point thrashing of NAIA member Paul Quinn Saturday night, the Baylor Bears host the Centenary Gents Tuesday as part of ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon at the Ferrell Center. The seventh telecast in a 14-game slate, the Bears and Gents will tip off at 3:05 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN360.com.
• Tuesday's meeting with Centenary will mark just the fifth time in school history the Bears have placed on ESPN (and the fourth ESPN game at the Ferrell Center). Baylor is 2-2 on ESPN and 7-7 all-time on the ESPN family of networks. Baylor will play 11 games on the ESPN family of networks in 2008-09.
• Baylor has won 11 of its last 12 non-conference home games.
• Baylor has made at least one 3-point field goal in 487 straight games.
• Henry Dugat made 4-of-5 3-point field goals in season opener vs. Paul Quinn and has connected on 14-of-24 (58.3 pct) 3-point field goals in his last seven games, dating back to the 2007-08 season.
• Quincy Acy recorded a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) in his first career game, while adding a game-high 5 blocks.
• Baylor's 58-point win over Paul Quinn Saturday is the third-largest margin of victory in school history (66 vs. Austin College in 1978; 59 vs. Hardin-Simmons in 2001).
• Baylor is 56-3 all-time when scoring 100-plus points (7-0 under head coach Scott Drew).
• Baylor set a new school record with 13 blocked shots Saturday vs. Paul Quinn. The previous record of 12 was set against (2/23/94) and Louisiana Tech (12/30/95)
• Junior guard Tweety Carter did not dress for Saturday's season opener against Paul Quinn and will miss the next two games (team rules violation).
• Baylor continues its four-game homestand Saturday when the Bears welcome their second-straight Louisiana opponent Southern University. Tip off is set for 1 p.m. at the Ferrell Center.

• Baylor leads the all-time series 9-4 and has won the last five meetings - all in Waco.

CENTENARY SCOUTING REPORT
• Unlike the Bears on Saturday night, Centenary was unable to win its season opener as the Gents fell 77-55 at Mississippi State.
•Centenary shot just 30 percent (20-of-65) from the floor compared to the Bulldogs' 46 percent (27-of-58). Mississippi State connected on 42 second-half points.
•The Gents were led offensively by senior Nick Stallings and junior Chase Adams, who scored 16 and 15 points, respectively. Stallings and sophomore Anthony Gatlin each tallied seven rebounds.
BAYLOR INCLUDED IN ESPN'S COLLEGE HOOPS MARATHON
•The Baylor men's basketball game against Centenary College at the Ferrell Center as part of ESPN's College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon on Tuesday.
•The Bears and Gents will face off on ESPN and ESPN360.com as the seventh game of the 14-game telecast schedule. •With the addition of the Centenary game, a school-record 11 games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks. •ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will offer 33 total hours of coverage overall highlighted by 14 game telecasts. ESPN360.com will offer a simulcast of every ESPN and ESPN2 telecast.
LAST SERIES MEETING - BAYLOR 85, CENTENARY 62 [NOV. 24, 2007]
•Freshman LaceDarius Dunn tied a career high with 17 points to lead Baylor to an 85-62 win over Centenary at the Ferrell Center. With the win the Bears improve to 5-0 overall, its best start since the 2001-02 season.
•Henry Dugat tied Dunn with a game-high 17 points while adding four rebounds. Aaron Bruce scored 13 points, while Josh Lomers chipped-in 10.
•The Bears tied a season high with 12 3-point baskets and shot 43 percent (12-of-28) from behind the arc.
•Baylor grabbed a season high 46 boards as the Bears out-rebounded the Gents 46-34.
•Centenary took a 2-0 lead early in the first, but that was the last advantage the Gents would have as Baylor scored seven unanswered points and never looked back. Bruce led the way for the Bears with 10 first half points to give Baylor a 44-30 first half lead.
•The Gents were led by junior Lance Hill's 14 points, while sophomore Chase Adams added 11.
LAST TIME OUT - BAYLOR 108, PAUL QUINN 50 [NOV. 15]
•Henry Dugat scored 22 points, while Quincy Acy finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds in his first college game as Baylor cruised to a 108-50 win over Paul Quinn Saturday night.
•Curtis Jerrells scored 17. Kevin Rogers and LaceDarius Dunn had 16 apiece for the Bears.
•Carl Nelson scored 17 and Ronald Ogoke added 10 points for Paul Quinn.
•Baylor pulled away in the first half with a 32-6 run that began with a pair of free throws by Rogers. Jerrells scored nine points during the run, which ended with Baylor up 40-15 with 7:30 remaining in the first period.
•Baylor set a school record with 13 blocked shots, five of them by Acy.
UP NEXT - SOUTHERN [NOV. 22]
•Baylor continues its four-game homestand Saturday, Nov. 22, when the Bears host the Southern Jaguars at the Ferrell Center. Tip off is set for 1 p.m.
•Saturday's meeting will be the second half of a home-and-home series with Southern. Last season, the Bears defeated the Jaguars 71-60 in Baton Rouge on Dec. 21, 2007.
•Baylor is 3-0 all-time vs. Southern and 2-0 under head coach Scott Drew.
BAYLOR BLOCK PARTY
•Baylor set a new single-game school record with 13 blocked shots in Saturday's 108-50 win over Paul Quinn, surpassing the previous record of 12.
•It was the first time Baylor had eclipsed double-digit blocked shots since Nov. 17, 2001, vs. Hardin-Simmons (11).
•In fact, six (6) of Baylor's 10 double-digit blocked shot games have been against Texas schools [Paul Quinn, Rice, Hardin-Simmons (twice), Texas Tech and TCU].
Quincy Acy: HUMAN HIGHLIGHT REEL
•Freshman Quincy Acy made the most of his Baylor debut Saturday against the Paul Quinn Tigers. The Mesquite, Texas, native poured in a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bears to the 58-point win.
•Four (4) of Acy's six field goals came via electrifying and highlight-reel dunks that brought the Ferrell Center crowd to its feet.
FIVE OF A KIND
•In addition to a double-double in his first collegiate game, Quincy Acy also added five steals and five blocked shots. Acy just missed cracking the single-game top 10 in blocked shots [six different players have recorded six blocked shots in a game; Mamadou Diene and Brian Skinner have done it multiple times].
•However, Acy's five steals rank as the ninth-most single-game total in school history [for complete list, see page 192 in media guide].
DOUBLE VISION
•It took 81 games, but preseason All-Big 12 selection Curtis Jerrells finally tallied his first career double-double. CJ scored 17 points, while dishing out a career-high 10 assists vs. Paul Quinn Saturday night.
•Jerrells became the first Bear to reach double-digit assists since Aaron Bruce had 11 vs. Gonzaga (Nov. 15, 2006) two years ago to the date.
HENDU TO THE RESCUE
•Senior guard Henry Dugat scored a game-high 22 points, along with five assists to lead Baylor over Paul Quinn Saturday.
•Dugat was 4-for-5 from 3-point range and has connected on 14-of-his-last 24 (58.3 pct) 3-point field goals dating back to last season.
MAKING THE DIFFERENCE WITH MOMENTUM
•Coming off the bench Saturday night vs. Paul Quinn, Quincy Acy ignited runs of 9-0 in the first half and 9-1 in the second half.
IT'S NOT HOW YOU START, BUT HOW YOU FINISH
•After trailing Paul Quinn 9-8 with 15:37 remaining in the first half, Baylor closed the half on a 47-12 run to take a commanding 56-20 lead.
POINTS O'PLENTY
•Every played dressed for Baylor Saturday scored vs. Paul Quinn (11 players dressed).
•Five BU players scored in double-figures, the most since seven players scored 10-plus points against Missouri (March 1, 2008).
•Baylor's 55 first-half points were the most in a single half since the Bears scored 55 second-half points vs. Missouri on March 1, 2008, and the most points scored in the first half since BU scored 60 in last year's season opener vs. Jackson State.
BAYLOR AND THE CENTURY MARK
•Baylor's 108-point outburst vs. Paul Quinn was the seventh time the Bears have scored 100-plus points in the Drew Era [The Bears are 7-0 in those games].
•Baylor is 56-3 all-time when scoring 100-plus points.
BAYLOR VS. THE SUMMIT LEAGUE
•Baylor is 19-8 all-time vs. schools from The Summit League (formerly the Mid-Continent Conference).
•Scott Drew was the head coach Mid-Continent Conference member Valparaiso during the 2002-03 season.

•Tuesday's meeting with the Centenary (Shreveport) is the first of two consecutive games against teams from the state of Louisiana. Saturday, the Bears face the Southern University Jaguars (Baton Rouge).
