Junior soccer players Beckah Brady and Katie White earned CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District third-team honors Thursday.

Brady earned Academic All-District honors for the second time in her career after earning first team honors in 2007. A native of Tulsa, Okla., the midfielder is a 2007 Academic All-Big 12 first-team member who holds a 3.88 GPA in applied mathematics. Brady has two goals and an assist so far in 2008.

White is a 2007 Academic All-Big 12 first-team selection and is earning Academic All-District honors for the first time in her career. The College Station, native, holds a 3.81 GPA in accounting and has one assist, while making six starts in 2008.

Baylor will conclude the 2008 season on Friday at No. 12 Texas at 7:00 p.m.
