The Baylor soccer team will look to rebound from a tough 1-0 loss to No. 7 Texas A&M by hosting Iowa State and Nebraska this weekend. The Bears will face the Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and the Huskers on Sunday at 1:00 p.m..

"These are two very good teams coming in this weekend," head coach Marci Jobson said. "I was really proud of how hard we fought last week, and now we have to take that energy and continue to build upon it."

Baylor allowed just one goal last weekend, tying Texas State 0-0 on Sept. 26, before dropping a heartbreaker to No. 7 Texas A&M, 1-0 on Sept. 28. Baylor's defense has been stingy as of late and has allowed just one goal in the last 352:28 of play. On the flip side, the Bears have scored only one during that time.

The Cyclones enter Friday's match 4-6-0 overall and 0-2 in conference play after droping a pair of games to Missouri (3-0) and Kansas (3-2) this past weekend. Iowa State is currently on a three match losing streak and has dropped four of its last five. Senior forward Leslie Hill leads the charge with three goals and three assists, while junior goalkeeper Ann Gleason has a 1.99 GAA.

The Huskers, who are 6-0-1 in their last seven matches, venture in to the weekend with a 6-4-1 record overall and a 2-0-0 mark in conference. Nebraska took a pair of games against Kansas (2-1) and Missouri (3-2) this past weekend to open conference play. Junior forward Shay Powell leads the way with six goals and two assists, while junior Anna Caniglia and freshman Molly Thomas each have four goals. Senior Brittany Pfeil starts between the posts, allowing just seven goals in nine games (.81 GAA).
