Women's basketball fans across the country will have numerous opportunities to see the USA's best players together in action this fall, as the 2007-08 USA Basketball Women's Senior National Team takes on eight top collegiate teams in a barnstorming exhibition tour that will run from Oct. 31 through Nov. 15. The Baylor Lady Bears will host the USA national team on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.

The $10 tickets for the Baylor-USA game are available through the Baylor Athletic Ticket Office at Floyd Casey Stadium by contacting the ticket office by calling 1-800-BAYLORU or 254-710-1000. Tickets may also be purchased at BaylorBears.com. Baylor/USA game tickets are not included in 2007-08 season ticket packages. Those individuals who have purchased Lady Bear season tickets for 2007-08 can purchase Baylor/USA game tickets now, non-season ticket holders may purchase tickets beginning October 8.

"I'm excited that our fans and all of Central Texas and the people who follow women's basketball will have an opportunity to come see some of the best players our country has to offer. I think I'm going to be just as excited as a coach to be able to watch that much talent assembled on a USA basketball team," said Baylor head coach Kim Mulkey, a USA Olympic gold medal winner in 1984.

The USA tips-off its 2007 College Tour with a Halloween game against the University of Maryland in College Park on Oct. 31, followed by the University of Connecticut in Storrs on Nov. 2. Heading south, the USA takes on defending NCAA champion University of Tennessee in Knoxville on Nov. 4 before the 2007 USA College Tour begins to move west for a Nov. 6 contest against Baylor in Waco, Texas. On Nov. 8 the USA will meet Arizona State University in Tempe, then return to the Lone Star State for a Nov. 11 match-up against Texas A&M University in College Station. Continuing west to California for its final two games, Nov. 13 will see the USA pitted against the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and the USA concludes its tour on Nov. 15 at Stanford University in Stanford, Calif.

"This is a great tour that USA Basketball has put together," said USA and Seattle Storm head coach Anne Donovan, a three-time U.S. Olympic Team member and assistant coach to the 2004 U.S. Olympic gold medal winning squad. "We're going to be playing against some of the top programs in the country and it's going to be a great opportunity for us to work on team chemistry, cohesiveness and overall competitiveness. I think the most important thing is that this will be a rare chance for fans to see the USA Basketball Women's National Team up close and in person. It'll be an exciting time for some of our players who will be playing on their respective collegiate courts in front of their college fans for the first time in several years. I'm really excited about this tour and I know the fans at all these schools will come out to support both teams. They will definitely enjoy watching the games."
