Broosova Tops Bielikova for Women's Tennis Title

Lenka Broosova became the third consecutive member of the Baylor women's tennis team to capture the singles title at the HEB Baylor Invitational on Sunday as she defeated teammate Jana Bielikova in straight sets at the Baylor Tennis Complex.
Nationally ranked Broosova (No. 54) topped teammated Bielikova to claim the championship, 6-2, 6-3.
Baylor also earned the doubles title as Karolina Filipiak and Taylor Ormond, both freshmen, teamed up to defeat Kentucky's Christine Johnston and Alaina Trgorich, 8-2.
Members of the team will return to action at the ITA All-America tournament beginning on Thursday.
