WACO, Texas -- Baylor's 2007 Big 12 Conference opener Sept. 29 at Texas A&M has been selected for national television broadcast on the Versus Network, the Big 12 Conference office announced Monday. Kickoff between the Bears and the Aggies is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. CDT at Kyle Field in College Station.

This marks Baylor's first-ever appearance on the Versus Network (formerly the Outdoor Life Network). The Versus Network is available in Waco on Time Warner Cable channel 125 and on Grande Cable channel 23.

The Bears are 37-68-2 all-time in televised games, including a 2-15 mark during head coach Guy Morriss' tenure. This is the first time the Baylor-Texas A&M game has been televised since 2005, a 16-13 Aggies' victory in overtime.

Baylor returns to action Saturday, traveling to Buffalo, N.Y., for its final non-conference game of the season at the University at Buffalo. Kickoff between the Bears and the Bulls is scheduled for 5 p.m. CDT at UB Stadium on the Buffalo campus.
