Track and Field Travels to Austin for Texas Relays

WACO, Texas - - The Baylor track and field teams are set to travel to Austin for the 80th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays April 5-7 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The Bears are coming off an unprecedented performance at the Stanford Invitational last weekend, setting 20 regional qualifying marks over the two days of competition. The men's 4x400-meter relay team took first place with a nation-leading time of 3:05.29.

Quentin Iglehart-Summers won the men's open 400 meters for the second straight year, recording a regional qualifying time of 46.77.

Last year, Baylor recorded two event victories at Texas Relays, winning the women's distance medley relay in 11:19.45 to shatter the school record by almost 11 seconds, and taking first in the women's spring medley relay in 3:46.29, another school record. The Bears also set eight regional qualifying times.
