FSN Southwest's 2007 Big 12 Spring Football Tour, which features 30-minute shows for every Big 12 South Division school, offers an in-depth look at Baylor on Monday, April 30 at 10:00 p.m. (Central). The theme of this year's series is "Turning Points" with each show featuring a segment highlighting the biggest play of 2006 as selected by the head coach as the pivotal point of the season.
The Baylor episode is hosted by FSN Big 12 Showcase host and college football play-by-play announcer Bill Land and FSN Big 12 sideline reporter Emily Jones. It includes highlights from the Spring Game played April 14 at Floyd Casey Stadium, a 2007 season preview, and interviews with coaches and players. The "Turning Point" feature focuses on linebacker Joe Pawelek's leaping, game-clinching interception in the end zone in triple overtime against Colorado to preserve a Baylor win on the road.
Fans can watch the Big 12 Spring Football Tour on FSN Southwest in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico. Viewers living outside of the Southwest region can get the shows on satellite TV services DirecTV (Ch. 643) and Dish Network (Ch. 416).
The programs will be replayed several times throughout the spring and summer, leading to the start of football practice. Shows for Big 12 North Division schools will run in the summer. Fox College Sports also carries the series. Check local listings for dates and times.
