Baylor signee Lacedarius Dunn will play in the 2007 Roundball Classic, a high school all-star basketball game featuring top national seniors held at Chicago's United Center Tuesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. CDT. The game will be televised nationally on tape-delayed basis by CSTV, airing Saturday, April 7, Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13 (schedule below).

Dunn, a 6-4, 190-pound guard, will play for the East team in the 43rd-annual playing of America's original high school all-star game.

A native of Monroe, La., Dunn was a three-time first-team all-state selection at Excelsior Christian School. He averaged 34.3 points and 9.1 rebounds as a senior in 2006-07, led ECS to a 36-3 record and was named the state's Class C most outstanding player.

Dunn, a consensus top-35 national recruit, is Baylor's highest-rated signee in recent years. He is rated the nation's No. 18 recruit by Scout.com, No. 27 by Hoopmasters.com, No. 29 by Hoopscoop.com and No. 32 by Rivals.com.

The Roundball Classic's 23-man rosters represent 13 states and feature top high school talent including O.J. Mayo (Huntington, W.V.), Kevin Love (Lake Oswego, Ore.), DeAndre Jordan (Houston, Texas), Corey Fisher (Bronx, N.Y.) and Taylor King (Huntington Beach, Calif.) Nick Mariniello of Bloomfield Tech (Bloomfield, NJ) and Loren Jackson of Boys to Men Academy (Chicago, IL) have been selected to coach the East and West teams, respectively.

The Roundball Classic, founded by Sonny Vaccaro in 1964, has generated more than $4 million for charitable programs. All net proceeds from this year's game will be donated to local Chicago charities including the Chicago-Sun Times Trust.
