WACO, Texas - The fifth-seeded Lady Bears will depart from Waco Regional Airport on Friday for their first round NCAA Tournament game against the Chattanooga Lady Mocs Sunday, March 18 in Raleigh, N.C.
Lady Bear fans are urged to attend the send-off rally which will begin at 3 p.m. Friday in the grass area just outside/in front of the main terminal at the Waco Regional Airport. The rally will include short speeches by Head Coach Kim Mulkey, Lady Bear student-athletes and Director of Athletics, Ian McCaw.
The Baylor/Chattanooga game will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. (CDT) and will be televised on ESPN.
This is the fourth straight NCAA tournament appearance for the Lady Bears and the sixth appearance in the past seven years. Baylor has advanced to the Sweet 16 three straight years.
