WACO, Texas (AP) - Angela Tisdale scored 21 points, tying her season high, and Bernice Mosby added 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead No. 15 Baylor to an 81-64 win over Iowa State on Saturday night.
Trailing 49-26 at the break, the Cyclones opened the second half with a 13-4 run to pull to 53-39 with just under 16 minutes left.
However, Baylor (21-4, 8-3 Big 12) regrouped, and Iowa State never seriously challenged.
Alison Lacey, Nicky Wieben, and Megan Ronhovde scored 12 points each, while Heather Ezell added 10 for Iowa State (17-7, 5-6).
Baylor was 9-for-16 on 3-pointers in the first half to take its 23-point halftime advantage. Tisdale scored 18 points in the half, making six 3s. She made a career-best seven overall.
Leading 11-7 with just under 16 minutes left in the first half, the Lady Bears put together a 14-2 run and went in front 25-9 at the 10:49 mark - capped by Tisdale's fourth 3 of the night.
Baylor shot 55 percent in the first half (18-for-33), while Iowa State was 31 percent (11-for-36) - including 1-for-9 on 3s.
