CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Playing on the road for the first time this season, three Baylor players produced double-doubles to lead the 10th-ranked Lady Bears to an 81-51 victory over the Southeast Missouri Redhawks in the school's Show Me Center on Thursday night.

The victory raised Baylor's record to 6-0 while the Redhawks fell to 4-3 and saw its 17-game winning streak at the Show Me Center. Southeast Missouri is now 64-9 at home over the last five-plus years.

Rachel Allison, Danielle Wilson and Jhasmin Player all turned in double-doubles when Allison poured in a career-high 20 points and hauled down 10 rebounds, Wilson added 12 points and 12 boards and Player earned her first career double-double with her 13-point, 10-assist performance. A Baylor points/assist double-double last occurred when Angela Tisdale turned in a 12-point, 10-assist performance against South Dakota State in 2006. Tisdale, the team's lone senior, was Baylor'second-leading scorer with 18 points on the night, nine of which came from 3-point range.

In front of a crowd of 1,536, Baylor outscored the Redhawks 30-14 in the paint and outrebounded them 52-20 while shooting over 50 percent for the game for the third time this season.

Allison led all scorers with a career-high 20 points and registered her third career-double double. Wilson matched her career-high in blocked shots with six, four of which occurred in the first half, to raise her career total to 102. Tisdale recorded her 400th career assist early in the game and now has 403, good for No. 5 on Baylor's career assist chart.

Sophomore Jessika Bradley and freshman Melissa Jones came off the bench to combine for 13 rebounds, hauling down seven and six respectively.

Southeast Missouri started strong and held a six-point lead at the 15:05 mark of the first half, 11-5, but Baylor tied the game 14 all at 12:43 then took the lead for good with 11:56 remaining in the first half on a trey by Tisdale. Tarina Nixon led the Redhawks with 15 points while Missy Whitney was the squad's top rebounder with nine.

In the first half, the Lady Bears' smothering defense set the tempo and continually forced the Redhawks to take hurried shots as the shot clock wound down. In fact, BU held Southeast to just nine points in the final 15 minutes of the first stanza and held them scoreless the final five minutes, taking a 46-20 lead into the lockerroom at the half. In that first 20 minutes, Baylor shot 66.7 percent (16-of-24) and outrebounded the Redhawks, 29-7. Tisdale and Allison had reached double digit scoring by halftime with 14 and 10, respectively, while Player had dished out a season-high tying seven assists during that same span.

"This was a good win for us. We were a little bit nervous, being on the road for the first time this year. I thought we had a height advantage tonight. It was a very physical game but we stood in there and held our ground," said head coach Kim Mulkey.

The Lady Bears' next contest is Wednesday, Dec. 12 when they host Oregon at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
