WACO, Texas (AP) -Danielle Wilson scored 16 points, and Jessika Bradley had 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 15 Baylor over Howard 83-31 on Friday night in the round robin-style Travelers Tip-Off Tournament.
Jhasmin Player added 10 points and Melissa Jones grabbed 10 rebounds for Baylor, who built a 47-8 halftime lead. Baylor out-rebounded the Bison 63-24.
Howard scored its first points with 12 minutes remaining in the first half when Shannon Carlisle converted a turnover into a basket.
Baylor shot nearly 50 percent from the field, while Howard shot 20 percent - 10.7 percent in the first half.
The Lady Bears had an 18-0 advantage in fastbreak points.
In the opening game of the three-day, four-team tournament, Saint Mary's, Calif., beat Prairie View 87-80. Baylor will play St. Mary's on Saturday and then face Prairie View on Sunday.
