Baylor sophomore Beckah Brady and senior Megan Sherrell were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District XI women's soccer teams, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Thursday.

Brady was selected to the first team as a midfielder. The Tulsa, Okla., native currently has four goals and one assist on the season for nine points while pursuing a degree in math education.

Sherrell earned a spot on the third team as a forward, posting nine goals and seven assists for a career-high 25 points. This season, Sherrell has moved onto Baylor's top-10 lists for most points in a season (t-9), most goals in a season (t-10), most goals in a career (t-9) and most assists in a season (t-8). Her 25 points and seven assists are the most by an individual since 1999, while her nine goals, matched in 2003 and 2004, are the most since 2000.

Along with her on-field accomplishments, Sherrell will graduate in May with degrees in history and sociology.
