Looking to leave some history behind, the Baylor women's soccer team hits the road for its first Big 12 matches away from the friendly confines of Betty Lou Mays Field, facing Oklahoma on Thursday and Oklahoma State on Saturday.

Baylor ended a four-year winless streak against the Sooners last season and tied the all-time record at 4-4-2. Not only is the record tied between Baylor and Oklahoma, the two teams have combined for 24 goals, 12 for each side.

On the road, the Bears have a 1-3-2 record against the Sooners and have not won a game at Oklahoma, where they have been out-scored 5-8, since Baylor's 2-1 win on Oct. 15, 1999.

The Bears have been held without a win for nearly as long at Oklahoma State (Oct. 6, 2000), where they will visit on Saturday. Last season Baylor lost 3-0 to the Cowgirls last season and has an all-time record of 5-4-2 against nationally ranked Oklahoma State.

Baylor is 3-3 on the road against OSU where the Bears have out-scored the Cowgirls 9-1 in their three wins, but have been held scoreless (8-0) in their three losses.

Baylor enters the week with a 6-3-2 record (0-0-1 Big 12) and is coming off a tie against Kansas (Sept. 28) and its first home loss on Sept. 30 to then-No. 20 Missouri.

Senior Megan Sherrell is leading the way for Baylor after scoring her sixth goal of the season in the Bears' 2-2 tie against Kansas on Sept. 28. Sherrell's six goals are the most by an individual since 2004 when Tiffany Boshers scored nine goal; she also leads the team in assists (7) and total points (19).Her assist total is the most by an individual since 1999 while her points total is the most by a Baylor soccer player since 2003.

Both contests are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
