Tennis' Taylor Finishes Tournament on High Note

MIDLAND, Texas - Freshman Taylor Ormond ended Baylor's stay at the 2007 Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational with two wins with her final match victory over Michela Kissell of Miami (Fla.) on Sunday in Midland, Texas.
Ormond defeated Kissell in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4 in her final match.
Sophomore Zuzana Chmelarova dropped her final match in the backdraw consolation bracket to Caren Seenauth. Seenauth handed Chmelarova a 6-0, 6-4 loss.
Baylor's women's tennis team will next be in action at the Wilson ITA Regionals beginning on Thursday in Lubbock, Texas.
