Baylor Head Coach Scott Drew:
"We're playing much better basketball. I'm very pleased with what we've done the past two games and I expect it to carry over."
"Defensively, it starts with that. We out-rebounded them in the game. If we can defend and rebound that leads to good things."
Baylor Guard Aaron Bruce:
"Against Kansas State, we had a breakdown against the zone, and we focused on that, the guards. We watched a lot of film, and we wanted to penetrate."
On Henry Dugat:
"I told him at halftime that everyone in Colorado is going to hate him because he had 30 (points) against Colorado State."
Baylor Guard Curtis Jerrells:
"It all comes with preparation. We all felt like we played well last week, we just didn't finish...This win was very important. We just needed to crank it up. I told everyone before the game, "It's not too late, but we can't wait forever."
Colorado Head Coach Ricardo Patton:
"We knew they would come out and play well, they shot lights out the first half . To go into the half down 23 that's a big hole to dig yourself out of."
"Great job in the second half to cut it to 11, but we missed a big one and one. Free throws killed us all night."
"I contribute our play to youth, we have so many guys with so little experience and even our veteran guys haven't been as consistent as we need them to be."
"Baylor did a great job of dribble penetration, their shooters were spotted up and knocking down shots."
"The guys like Xavier and Jeremy Williams have spent more time working on shooting as opposed to working on defense. We know they work hard in the summer, its just a matter of them focusing and executing."
