STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Sophia Young had 27 points and 12 rebounds and tied the Big 12 Conference record for career double-doubles Saturday night as No. 10 Baylor routed Oklahoma State 81-54.

Baylor (16-4, 6-3 Big 12) rebounded from a 31-point loss at Louisiana State five days earlier with its seventh straight win over the Cowgirls. Oklahoma State (6-15, 0-10) extended its losing streak to 10 games, matching the school record for consecutive losses within a season.

Young's double-double was the 54th of her career, tying the senior forward with Angie Welle of Iowa State -- whose college career ended in 2002 -- atop the league's all-time list. It was Young's 10th double-double this season.

Young, who went 11-for-15 from the field, had a shot at breaking her career high of 31 points, but sat out the final 8 1/2 minutes with the Lady Bears ahead comfortably. She did move into fourth place on the Big 12's career scoring list.

In the teams' first meeting, on Jan. 11 at Baylor, Oklahoma State jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first six minutes but lost 57-26 and scored the fewest points in school history.

The Cowgirls' only lead Saturday came at 2-0. Baylor scored 12 of the next 14 points to seize control and never was threatened.

The Lady Bears went more than five minutes without a basket midway through the first half, but in the interim, Oklahoma State sliced only three points off Baylor's 15-point advantage.

Baylor led 41-17 at halftime. Young almost outscored the entire Oklahoma State team in the half, finishing with 15 points.

The closest the Cowgirls came in the second half was 19 points, at 50-31 with 14:02 left, but consecutive 3-pointers by Chameka Scott and Jordan Davis again extended Baylor's lead. Davis hit four 3-pointers off the bench and finished with 12 points.

Baylor's lead peaked at 36 points, with 5:07 left. Oklahoma State closed the game on a 10-1 run.

Baylor guard Angela Tisdale was 7-for-9 from the field and finished with 17 points and seven assists.

Center Whitney Pegram led Oklahoma State with 19 points. The Cowgirls have lost 17 straight games against Big 12 teams.
