The Baylor Athletic Department has announced pricing for its seven-game 2006 home football schedule. Season ticket pricing will have two price points, $225 for all Floyd Casey Stadium premium seating areas and $165 for all sections with bench seating. Season ticket renewals are slated to be sent out March 1 with a return deadline of April 14.
"Our future plans include an even earlier start date to our football renewal process," Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw said. "But, given the fact that we are continuing to work on enhancing some of our premium seating areas in Floyd Casey, it made the most sense this year to utilize this timeline."
A season ticket campaign targeted for new season ticket holders will begin in mid-May, while individual tickets will go on sale in early August. Certain sections in the stadium will again require seat options. For further information regarding seat options and their values, individuals may contact the Baylor Bear Foundation at 254-710-2582.
The Bears, who are coming off both their best season on the field (5-6) and in the stands (average attendance of 38,889 per game) since 1995, open the 2006 campaign Sept. 2 against 2005 Houston Bowl and Mountain West Conference champion TCU, Sept. 2.
"The energy and momentum surrounding the football program is at an extremely high level," McCaw said. "Our goal is to build our season ticket base by at least 20% for the upcoming season. For us to reach our goals on the field, we must do the same off of it as well."
