MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Today's announced attendance was 6,037.
• Today's meeting was the 12th in the series between Baylor and Prairie View A&M. Baylor improved to 12-0 all-time vs. Prairie View A&M and 24-2 vs. current SWAC members.
• Baylor returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 3, when the Lady Bears host Texas Tech at 7 p.m. in the Big 12 opener for both teams.
TEAM NOTES
• Head coach Kim Mulkey posted her 170th career victory at Baylor.
• Baylor won its 10th-straight game and improved to 13-1 on the season with today's victory.
• Baylor finished the game with 10 blocked shots, the fourth time this season it has recorded at least 10 rejections. For the season, the Lady Bears have recorded a nation-leading 108 blocked shots.
• Baylor held a 29-point edge at the break as the Lady Bears improved to 11-0 on the season when leading after the first 20 minutes. Under Kim Mulkey, Baylor is 142-13 when leading at the break.
• Baylor had five players reach double figures in the victory marking the seventh time this season the Lady Bears had at least five players score in double digits.
• The win moves Baylor's mark to 44-1 all-time in December under head coach Kim Mulkey. The Lady Bears have never lost at home in December under Mulkey, moving their record to 27-0 with the win.
• Under Kim Mulkey, Baylor is now 53-3 against non-conference opponents at home and 104-14 against non-conference opponents overall since her arrival.
• Baylor is 85-3 under Mulkey when scoring 80 or more points, including 9-0 in 2006-07.
• For the contest, Baylor out-rebounded Prairie View A&M, 36-28, as the Lady Bears are now 140-20 under Mulkey when out-rebounding the opposition.
• Baylor held a 46-22 edge in points in the paint, a 50-9 edge in points off turnovers, a 18-8 edge in second chance points and a 18-0 edge in fastbreak points.
• Baylor had 19 steals in the game, its second-best one-game total of the season.
PLAYER NOTES
• Latara Darrett scored a career-high 18 points. Her previous career best was 13 vs. North Carolina A&T.
• Darrett's effort against PV was aided by a career-high tying 4 made 3-point buckets (she also made 4 treys against BYU).
• Bernice Mosby had 21 points and 9 rebounds today. It marked her eighth 20-point scoring game of the season.
• Danielle Wilson blocked 4 shots in the game to run her season total to 48, most-ever by a Baylor freshman and the seventh-best one-season total in school history overall.
• Rachel Allison had a career-high tying 5 steals today and for the season has a team-leading 30 thefts.
• Angela Tisdale had 4 assists to move her career total 321, good for No. 8 on the all-time Baylor list. She's also No. 10 at Baylor in made career 3's with 69.
