Baylor Head Coach Scott Drew:
"The good thing this year is when you come to the Ferrell Center this year and watch the Baylor Bears, we do have some explosiveness on offense and we are trying to incorporate that on the defensive end, again first half when your 12-for-16 from 3-point range and 19-for-26 from the floor, as a coach, its hard to get on them for not offensive rebounding enough."
"We are very proud of our guys, we were 1-for-8 in the second half, but we did a great job recognizing that we weren't hitting the three instead of shooting another 16 of them. What we did was start taking the ball to the basket and when you get fouled 24 times, that's a good thing."
Baylor Guard Tweety Carter:
"Playing with the three guards is great, they find the open man and we just play together. There were a lot of open doors tonight and I just took advantage of it."
"I try not to think about high school too much anymore, it's a new level here, and I am just trying to make the most of it. The coaches are pushing me everyday not to give up and keep fighting and just keep getting better everyday."
Baylor Guard Aaron Bruce:
"We got on the line, and got good ball movement, we get an open look. All of our guys can knock down a three. We just got open looks and that's how we need to play, we need to find the extra man because we've got a lot of threats out there.
"The last two games wasn't an accurate reflection of how we can shoot the ball. We'd like to shoot like that all the time, but we have good nights, we have bad nights and we try to make the most of the situation whatever it is."
Baylor Guard Curtis Jerrells:
"You look back we couldn't hit anything, but these are the shots we make in practice and these are the shots we practice, and we know we can knock them down and tonight we showed it."
