On the game:
"We're playing for a championship. If you told me before the season started that we would be playing for a championship with this many young players, I would have looked at you funny."
"Our game plan was to make them put it on the floor to score and the big girls were by themselves. We weren't helping them. I thought we controlled (Mallary) Gillespie. (Jessica) Morrow was challenged to guard her, and I think she did a great job."
On Bernice Mosby:
"Bernice (Mosby) is going to play at the next level. She's that good. What she's got, that's God-given ability. She's got a nastiness about her that fires up the team. She's a leader and she's only been in the program two years."
On Purdue:
"Purdue is big. They are good. They've got an All-American or two from high school. Our teams are very similar. They wouldn't be in the championship if they weren't good."
On tough schedule:
"I think we need it. The experience of what we're going through right now is valuable. If you look on the floor, I'm playing our young players and not when the game is out of reach. It's in critical moments."

"I think this is the most physical team we've ever played."

"I think this team is alright right now. Although we're young, I think we'll be alright."

On advancing to the Preseason WNIT championship game:
"I'm very excited. A lot of people didn't think we would be here right tonight. So we're proving some people wrong."
BYU HEAD COACH JEFF JUDKINS
On the game:
"They really were better in almost every aspect of the game tonight. Mosby, I think she played a nice game. She's a lot quicker than she looks on tape. That's something we need to get batter at as a team. We have a veteran team, but we need to work on quickness."
"We're going to learn from this game. We're playing a NBA schedule right now. We'll get better. I told them `We have got to execute better, stick to our game plan.'"
