• Bell established Baylor single-game records for completions (33), yards passing (394) and TD (5).
• Bell's first TD pass of the game established a Baylor record for career TD passes. Bell, who entered the game tied with Cody Carlson (1983-86) for the all-time lead, finished the game with five TD passes.
• Bell tossed at least four TD passes in a game for third time in his career, the second time this season.
• Bell moved into fourth place on Baylor's career yards passing chart; he now has 5,406 career yards.
• Bell moved into first place on Baylor's single-season yards passing chart; he now has 2,323 yards on the season.
• Bell moved into first place on Baylor's single-season TD passes chart; he now has 18 TD passes on the season.
• Bell has passed for at least 200 yards in 10 consecutive games, extending his Baylor record.
