Three Track Signees Post Nation-Leading Times

WACO, Texas - Trey Harts, LaJerald Betters and J.T. Sheuerman, who each signed National Letters of Intent to run track at Baylor during the early signing period in November, have the top national high school marks in a total of four events according to the latest dyestat.com rankings.

Harts, from Barbe High School in Baton Rouge, La., has the top time in the 55 meters at 6.30 and the fastest 200-meter time at 21.75. He also is the third-fastest in the 60 meters with a time of 6.86. Scheuerman, from Littleton High School in Littleton, Colo., owns the fastest 60-meter time at 6.78 just as current Baylor freshman Jacob Norman (Temple, Texas) has the fastest collegiate or professional 60-meter time in the nation at 6.63. Scheuerman also ranks fifth in the 200 meters with a best of 22.16 and fourth in the 400 meters at 48.11.

Local product LaJerald Betters, from Waco High School, has the fastest 400-meter time with a clocking of 47.82 Jan. 14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
