MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The announced attendance was 7,319.

• During the contest, there were five lead changes as the score was tied on five occasions. Baylor's largest advantage was 14 points with 4:47 left in the second half while Texas A&M's largest lead came with 2:09 left in the first when the Aggies held a four-point lead.

• Baylor will return to action on Saturday, January 21, when the Lady Bears host Oklahoma at 7:00 p.m.

TEAM NOTES
• The win extended Baylor's home winning streak to 25-straight games, dating back to a 62-59 loss to Texas Tech on Feb. 8, 2004. Baylor is now 78-10 all-time at home under head coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson.

• Baylor went with a starting line-up of Jessica Morrow, Abiola Wabara, Sophia Young, Angela Tisdale and Chameka Scott for the first time this season. The line-up was the fourth different starting line-up for Baylor this season.

• With the win, Baylor improves to 36-32 all-time against Texas A&M and has won the last 11 in the series.

• Baylor trailed Texas A&M 27-25 at the half. The two-point halftime deficit marked the first time Baylor has trailed at the half at home this season.

• Baylor opened the second half on a 15-0 run to turn a 27-25 halftime deficit into a 40-27 Lady Bears lead. The Aggies were held scoreless for the first 5:11 of the second half until a pair Lenka Zimova free throws with 14:49 left cut the Baylor lead to 40-29. Texas A&M was held without a field goal until the 13:30 mark of the second half.

• Texas A&M answered the Baylor run with a 11-0 run of their own to cut the Baylor lead to 40-38 before Chameka Scott hit a three-pointer with 10:00 left to give the Lady Bears a five-point lead. It would mark the closest the Aggies would be to the Lady Bears the rest of the night.

• Baylor established a new season-high with 13 blocks on the night. Prior to the contest against Texas A&M, Baylor had a season-high of 11 blocks in an 85-68 win over Army.

• Baylor scored zero bench points in the contest.

• Baylor out-rebounded Texas A&M 40-29 on the night as the Lady Bears are now 11-1 on the season when out-rebounding their opponent.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Sophia Young scored 28 points on the night, pushing her career total to 2,062. Young ranks sixth all-time in Big 12 Conference career scoring and is now 63 points shy of LaNeishea Caufield of Oklahoma (2,125 points) for fifth on the conference career scoring list.

• With 28 points, Young has scored in double figures in 61 consecutive games and has scored in double figures in 112 of 121 career games.

• With 28 points, Young reached the 20-point plateau for the 39th time in her career and the 10th time this season.

• Young's 28-points was the third-highest total for a Baylor player this season.

• With four blocks, Young moved into a tie for third on Baylor's career chart with Maggie Davis-Stinnett (116, 1986-89, 1990-91)with 119. Young passed Monica Arnold (116, 1997-01) on the career chart and and is now 22 blocks shy of Kacy Moffitt (141) for second all-time.

• The start for Young tonight was the 108th of her career, tying her with LaToya Ellis (1995-99) for the most starts in school history.

Abiola Wabara recorded 11 rebounds on the night to lead the way for Baylor as she recorded 10-plus rebounds for the third time this season.

• With 10 points to go along with 11 rebounds, Wabara recorded her third double-double of the season, her first in conference play and the third of her career.

• Wabara set a new career high with six blocks on the night. The six blocks are tied for the fourth-most in school history and the most blocks in a game since Monica Arnold recorded six blocks against Kansas State on Feb. 28, 2001.

Jessica Morrow made her first career start in the contest and established a new career-high with six rebounds.

Angela Tisdale tied a career-high with nine assists. It marked the sixth time in her career Tisdale has recorded nine assists in a game.
