WACO, Texas - Fila Collegiate Tennis, administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), released its first national and individual rankings today, and Baylor's women's tennis team earned its highest ranking to date as they broke into the nation's top ten teams with a ninth-place spot. Among the individual rankings, Baylor earned three rankings in singles and one ranked team in doubles. The singles poll features the nation's top 100 players while the doubles polls highlights the top 50 duos. In team rankings, only the top 75 programs are placed.

In doubles, the tandem of Cerna and junior Klara Zrustova was the only Baylor team to crack into the top 50 teams as they tied at No. 31 with Texas' Kendra Strohm and Mia Marovic.

The Bears will open their spring season by hosting SMU Saturday, Jan. 21.
