DALLAS - The Big 12 Conference has announced its 2005-06 women's basketball telecast schedule on FSN which features 26 appearances for the league.
Nineteen regular season games and seven Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship matchups are included in the package.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Championship quarterfinal games will be televised by FSN for the fifth consecutive year, in addition to the semifinals and championship which have been televised by the network every year since the inception of the conference in 1996-97.
The Big 12 enters 2005-06 on a high note after Baylor won the conference's first basketball national championship last season. Eight league teams competed in postseason in 2005 with six in the NCAA Tournament and two in the WNIT. The Big 12 also led the nation in attendance for the sixth consecutive season.
