Mulkey-Robertson Receives Community Award

WACO, Texas - Kim Mulkey-Robertson, head coach of the 2005 NCAA National Champion Lady Bear basketball team, was presented with a Community Service Award on Tuesday, May 10 in the VIP Room of the Ferrell Center.

The award, which includes a grandfather clock, was presented by representatives of the African American community in Waco as a token of their appreciation for all Coach Mulkey-Robertson has done for Waco and Baylor. In addition, the group made a presentation to the Baylor "B" Association during the gathering.

Those participating in the event included: Dr. Jimmy Hunter (Toliver's Chapel Baptist Church), Rev. Delvin Atchison (Antioch Missionary Baptist Church), Rev. Gaylon Foreman (Pastor, Carver Park Baptist Church), Larry Jackson(Owner, Ticksters Clockworks), Marshall Warren (Marketing Director, Ticksters Clockworks), Linda Austin (Anchor News) and Walter Abercrombie (Executive Director, Baylor "B" Association).
