Baylor Guard Chameka Scott
On how much this win means to the Baylor team and program:
"A lot of people really doubted us, but we took their challenge and really rose to the occasion. This win really sums up the Baylor team this season. This is what we came to do. This is what we started working for back in June. We did this for the seniors and for each other. We got here and we got here together."

On feelings at the half:
"The first half was good in terms that we knew what we had to do in the second half. We didn't get down on ourselves at all because we knew we could compete with this team. We individually figured out what we had to do and we came out the second half and got it done."

On the competitiveness of tonight's game:
"It was back and forth and whole game. Seimone Augustus and Temeka Johnson are great players. The competitiveness made it fun. That's how you want to play. All you can do is play with all your heart and leave it out on the court."

Baylor Forward Abiola Wabara
On coming back from the early deficit:
"We've been in those situations many times. We didn't panic. We pulled ourselves together and realized that what we needed was defensive stops. You couldn't get all of the points back in one run. We just needed to get our defensive going, stop the ball and wait for our offense to get going."

On slowing LSU's transition game:
"We had only two players going for rebounds, so everybody else was back. We figured out a way to get back in transition defense, especially when we went to zone and that helped a lot."

On her attacking the basket in the second half:
"They were sagging off on me to help more on Sophia [Young]. I decided to take it to the basket and create, so that they would have to decide to stop Sophia or me."

On playing zone in the second half:
"It was something we wanted to do off and on but we kept it because that was what we were using when we cut the lead."

On turning around to play Tuesday night:
"We will be able to turn it around. When we won the Big 12 championship we said we wanted to win the Final Four. We'll be able to let go [of the excitement] for a moment and get ready for Tuesday."

Baylor guard Chelsea Whitaker
On recovering from the early deficit:
"We needed to get back on defense more. When we switched to zone that stopped them a bit because they weren't able to slice-and-dice and get inside the paint. The zone slowed them down and forced them to shoot the outside shot. Zones allow you to rebound better, so we were able to push the ball and that turned it around for us."

On how big making the championship game is for the program:
"We're still living a dream and it's still unreal to us. I can't believe we're in this position, but I am thankful for it and it's amazing. I'm speechless. I can't believe that I'm playing here and I wouldn't want to do it with anybody else."

On how important the zone defense was to the game:
"It was the key to the game. It slowed them down and got us in better rebounding position and it jump started our transition."
