Send the Lady Bears to Tempe

WACO, Texas - The 2005 Big 12 Conference regular season and tournament champion Baylor Lady Bears will depart for Tempe. Ariz., tomorrow to compete in the NCAA Tournament. Prior to their departure, fans are invited to send the Lady Bears off in front of the Waco Regional Airport Texas Aero terminal.
The short celebration will begin at 5 p.m. The team is scheduled to depart at 6:00 p.m.
Baylor, the No. 2 seed in the Tempe Regional, will face 3rd-seeded Minnesota in the regional semifinals on Sat., March 26 at 8 p.m. (CST) on ESPN. Baylor is making its second straight NCAA Sweet 16 appearance.
