MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The announced attendance was 6,119 and is the 24th largest home crowd in school history.
• Baylor held the lead the entire way as the Lady Bears largest lead of the game was a 40-point advantage with 3:30 left in the second half. The score was tied twice during the contest.
• Baylor will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 17, when the Lady Bears travel to West Point, New York, to take on Army at 2:00 p.m.
TEAM NOTES
• With the win over the Cowgirls, Baylor extended its winning streak to 28, dating back to a 69-55 loss to the Texas Longhorns on Jan. 22, 2005. The 28-game winning streak is the longest current winning streak in the nation and is the longest for Baylor in school history.
• The win extended Baylor's home winning streak to 21-straight games, dating back to a 62-59 loss to Texas Tech on Feb. 8, 2004. Baylor is now 74-10 all-time at home under head coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson and 42-2 against non-conference opponents.
• With the win over the Cowgirls, Baylor extended its regular season, home non-conference winning streak to 40 games dating back to a 80-69 loss to Arkansas on Dec. 2, 1999.
• Baylor went with a starting line-up of Sophia Young, Jordan Davis, Abiola Wabara, LaToya Wyatt and Chameka Scott for the first time this season.
• With the win, Baylor has won three straight in the series against the Cowgirls, however, McNeese State still leads the all-time series 6-5.
• Baylor held McNeese State to 15 points in the first half as the Lady Bears built a 36-15 halftime lead. The 15 points was the lowest point total for a Baylor opponent in a half so far this season and was the eighth lowest total for an opponent in the first half in school history.
• The 36 points by McNeese State was the lowest point total for a Baylor opponent this season.
• All nine players who suited up for the Lady Bears scored during the contest.
• Baylor held a 46-24 edge in points in the paint and held an 10-0 edge in fast break points.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Sophia Young scored 13 points on the night, pushing her career total to 1,910. She is now 10 points shy of Stacey Dales of Oklahoma (1,920 points) for seventh all-time in Big 12 Conference history.
• With 13 points, Young has scored in double figures in 54 consecutive games. She has now scored in double figures in 105 of 114 career games.
• Four Baylor players finished in double figures (Jessica Morrow, Jordan Davis, Sophia Young and Abiola Wabara) as Wabara led the way for the Lady Bears with 15 points.
• The 14 points for Morrow marked the first time this season the freshman has reached double figures as she established a new career high.
• Morrow also established a new single-game career high in blocks, leading the way for Baylor with four on the night. The four blocks was the most for a Baylor player this season.
• Jordan Davis reached double figures in scoring for the first time this season, scoring 10 points on the night.
• Abiola Wabara led the way for Baylor with eight rebounds on the night.
• Jhasmin Player and LaToya Wyatt each recorded five assists on the night to lead the way for Baylor.
