Student Government and Baylor Athletics hosted "Uproar" on Thursday night to energize the Baylor campus for Saturday's football game. The Baylor Golden Wave Band, Spirit Squads, members of the football team, and head coach Guy Morriss were present as a large number of fans attended to show their support and school spirit.

The Golden Wave Band, Spirit Squads, and Chamber of Commerce led the crowd through all the cheers. Chamber of Commerce and Student Government members put together a skit to demonstrate the game day experience. The event concluded with a speech by Coach Morriss and introductions by the players. Morriss said the team has been "working hard for [the University]" and asked the students to "be the difference" in the game.

The Bears recently won their first ever Big 12 road game last week against Iowa State. They are currently 4-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play. With two more victories, the Bears will be eligible for a postseason bowl game for the first time since 1994. Fans are requested to buy their tickets early and wear gold to the game. A near capacity crowd is expected as the Bears look to continue their record setting season.

Baylor's home football game against Nebraska will be played at 6:05 p.m. Touchdown Alley opens at 4 p.m. For tickets, call (254) 710-1000 or log on to BaylorBears.com.
