BAYLOR SOCCER TRAVELS TO FACE COWGIRLS AND SOONERS
WACO, Texas - The Baylor soccer team hits the road for a pair of Big 12 Conference contests as the Bears travel to face Oklahoma and Oklahoma State this upcoming weekend. Baylor (3-9-1, 1-4-0) will face Oklahoma State (9-3-2, 2-3-0) on Friday, Oct. 14, at 7:00 p.m. before meeting Oklahoma (11-2-1, 3-1-1) on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 1:00 p.m.

"We picked up a big conference win against Iowa State and now we have to continue the success as we head into the heart of the conference schedule," head coach George Van Linder said. "Hopefully, we can build off the win against Iowa State and post a pair of good results."

Heading into the matches against the Sooners and Cowgirls, Baylor is led by seniors Brittani Zonker and Tiffany Boshers. The tandem is tied for the team lead with 10 points each as Zonker leads the team with four goals on the season while Boshers leads the team with four assists on the year. Zonker's goal against Iowa State snapped a seven-game losing streak as Baylor defeated Iowa State for the first time in four seasons.

Oklahoma State heads into the weekend after dropping a pair of road contests against Kansas and Missouri. The Cowgirls are led by forward Jesyca Rosholt, who leads the team with 11 goals, five assists and 27 points on the season. Oklahoma State has split time in net among four goalkeepers on the season; however, Jeanne Rankin has seen the most time in net, registering 22 saves in nine appearances.

Oklahoma enters the weekend tied atop the conference standings after battling to a 1-1 tie against Missouri before falling to Kansas for its first conference loss last week. The Sooners are led by Lauren McIver, who leads the team with six goals, seven assists and 19 points on the season. Jennifer Nicols has played every minute in goal for Oklahoma this season, posting 49 saves with a goals against average of 0.75.

Baylor leads the all-time series with Oklahoma State 5-2-2 while the all-time series with Oklahoma is tied at 3-3-2.

NOTING THIS WEEKEND
• Last season, Baylor dropped a one-goal decision to Oklahoma while tying Oklahoma State. Baylor leads the all-time series with Oklahoma State 52-2 and is tied all-time with Oklahoma at 3-3-2.

• With two assists against Iowa State, Tiffany Boshers moved into a tie for fourth on the school's career points list with 54.

• Baylor goalkeeper Ashley Holder leads the Big 12 Conference with 93 saves on the year.

WORKING THEIR WAY UP THE CHARTS
Several Bears are aiming to continue making their way up the leaderboards in the Baylor recordbook in 2005. Most notably, senior Tiffany Boshers begins the year ranked fifth in school history in career goals and career points.

SENIORS ZONKER AND BOSHERS LEADING THE WAY
With her game-winning goal against Iowa State, senior midfielder Brittani Zonker now leads the team with four on the season. The four goals by Zonker marks a single-season career high as the senior has also added two assists on the season to be tied with fellow senior Tiffany Boshers for the team lead with 10 points on the year.

Boshers, a senior forward, leads the team with four assists on the season and has also added three goals for the Bears this year. With two assists in the victory over Iowa State, Boshers moved into a tie for fourth-place on Baylor's career points list with 54 (21 G, 11 A) during her four-year career. The two assists in the victory over the Cyclones gives her 12 for her career, moving her into sixth-place on Baylor's career assists list.

Tiffany Boshers AMONG CONFERENCE LEADERS
Thirteen games into the 2005 season, senior forward Tiffany Boshers ranks near the top of a pair of league categories, ranking third in the league in shots and second in shots per game. Through 13 games, Boshers ranks third in the league with 65 shots and second with 5.00 shots per game.

So far this season, the forward has connected for three goals and is tied for the team lead with 10 points on the season.

Ashley Holder LEADS BIG 12 IN TWO CATEGORIES
Through 13 games this season, Baylor goalkeeper Ashley Holder finds herself at the top of the league rankings in saves and saves per game. So far this season, the sophomore goalkeeper has made 93 saves, well ahead of second-place Joanna Haig of Iowa State, who has made 73 saves this season. Holder also ranks first in the league with a 7.15 saves per game average.

The sophomore also ranks first in both categories in conference only contests. Holder has posted 37 saves through three conference for an 7.40 saves per game average.

In her one-plus years as Baylor goalkeeper, Holder already ranks second on Baylor's career chart with 191 saves during her career.

NEXT TIME OUT
Baylor will return home for its final two home games of the season. Baylor will face Texas Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, before meeting Colorado in the final home game of the season on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 1:00 p.m.
