HOUSTON, Texas - The Baylor men's and women's track and field teams will kick off the 2005 indoor season at the Houston Opener hosted by the University of Houston Saturday at Bill Yeoman Field House.

In addition to host Houston, Texas, Louisiana Tech, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston State, Southern, Texas Southern, Texas State, UAB, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio, Huston Tillotson, Northwood and Texas Lutheran will also be competing.

The meet will begin with the men's and women's weight throws and long jumps starting at 9:00 a.m. Running events start at 10:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:50. Below is a look at the meet schedule.

The Bears return Olympic gold medalist senior Darold Williamson and All-Americans Brelon Davis, Wil Fitts and Mark Teter. The women return All-Americans April Holliness and Lakadron Ivery.
