Megan McCoin Tabbed Academic All-America

WACO, Texas - Baylor senior Megan McCoin, a member of the cross country and track teams, was named to the Academic All-America Team selected and released by the College Sports Information Directors of America Friday.
McCoin, a biology/pre-med major from Houston, earned a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA while at Baylor. McCoin helped the cross country team to a second-place finish in the Big 12, its highest-ever finish, as well as second at the NCAA Regional and a Top 25 finish at the NCAA Championships. On the track, McCoin finished ninth in the 10,000 meters at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships. McCoin is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 selection and has been on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll every semester.
McCoin was also recently awarded a Post-Graduate Scholarship by the Big 12 Conference.
