WACO, Texas - After losing the doubles point for the second straight match, it must have felt like d?ja vu for the 2nd-ranked Baylor men's tennis team. But, the Bears rebounded to take four singles matches to claim a 4-1 victory over 3rd-ranked Florida in a consolation match of the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Seattle.

Mississippi shocked the Bears on Friday by claiming the doubles point and going on to win the match so the Bears must have felt some cause for alarm on Saturday against Florida. However, Benedict Dorsch, Benjamin Becker, Matija Zgaga and Reiner Neurohr all won in straight sets in singles to secure the win for Baylor. Baylor's record now stands at 4-1.

Dorsch and Neurohr, playing at the top spot in doubles, lost to Hamid Mirzadeh and Chris Brandi, 8-6 and Zgaga and Lovrak were defeated by 29th-ranked Vladimir Obradovic and Trey Johnson, 8-6.

Zgaga, a freshman playing at No. 4 for the Bears, won his 10th straight match with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Chris Brandi. Dorsch, ranked No. 3 nationally, extended his singles record to 15-1 with a straight sets (6-3, 6-3) win over No. 24 Hamid Mirzadeh.

The Bears' next action will be on Friday, Feb. 13 when they open Big 12 Conference play by hosting Colorado at the Baylor Tennis Center. The match will begin at 2 p.m.
